Progressive Nursing Staffers (PNS)

With seven locations nation-wide, eighteen PNS servers are operating at a CSU collocation. 150 users depend on CSU to keep operations running smoothly. Recent issues have included migrated from MS Windows 2000 Active directory domain to MS Windows 2003; Crystal Reports login problems; migrated from Exchange 2000 to 2003; implemented live communications server for interoffice messaging; implemented patch management on all workstations throughout the company.

NASSP dissolved their technical support staff and hired CSU to provide help desk support. Currently they have 32 servers, 180 workstations and 75 printers that are all supported by CSU. Recent issues that have been resolved include: migrated from Citrix Metaframe to Presentation Server 4.x; resolved mail rejection; DNS server issues; resolved hardware issues on various servers; resolved performance and software issues with work stations; and blackberry issues.

Angiotech is a company headquartered in Canada. CSU provides support for the Herndon field office. There are 40 end users at this location, with additional users, support and management staff, visiting monthly. Recent incidents have included setting up video conferences; docking station issues; MS project install; install printers; and Blackberry email issues. CSU has taken over Blackberry device configuration for the entire company nationwide.
